The Bali Beer bus is a mobile bar on wheels that offers an exhilarating and all-inclusive 2-hour experience through the heart of Bali's city streets! 


With 13 seats, every package includes: Unlimited Drinks, Snacks, Driver, Hostess, Security, Music by Spotify, Plug-in Phone Charger and Portable Neck Fan to Stay Refreshed!

        The Bali Beer Bus travels around the Legian and Kuta tourist areas, including the beautiful beachside. Depending on traffic and ceremonies, we may divert along a different route. 


        The bus travels at a slow and safe speed to ensure our passengers stay safe! There are toilet stops the along the way. We will take care of the details, you can just relax and enjoy the ride

        Built for Safety

        The Bali Beer Bus was designed with safety in mind, including a full steel safety rail system. Our bus has successfully passed safety inspections with the Indonesian transport department. All our staff are first-aid trained and certified.

        Significant thought was given to the interior design of the bus. Our gaming seats are very comfortable with clearance from the bar and foot stools below. Our back seats are extra roomy. We have portable neck fans available.

        ​FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

        How do I book?
        A deposit of 25% for all bookings needs to be paid before a booking is confirmed. This can be done by clicking on the calendar above and completing the checkout using card, via a bank transfer or in person at our HQ. For bank transfer information please reach out to us via Facebook or Instagram. 

        The remaining amount of 75% is paid on the day on arrival with cash (IDR only) or EFTPOS.

        We strongly recommend booking ahead as our bus is heavily booked and we often have disappointed customers that cant' get on the bus during their holiday period as they waited to book when they arrived.
        What is the route?

        The Bali Beer Bus travels around the Seminyak (Double Six) Legian and Kuta tourist areas, including the beautiful beachside. Depending on traffic and ceremonies, we may divert along a different route. 


        The bus travels at a slow and safe speed to ensure our passengers stay safe! There are toilet stops the along the way. We will take care of the details, you can just relax and enjoy the ride. 

        Are children allowed on the bus?

        We do allow children to ride on our bus. We are mindful that other adults are drinking so we have a few age restrictions.

      1. Children aged 10+ can ride the 11am, 2pm and 5pm run.
      2. Children under the age of 10 can ride the bus in a private group booking if all 13 seats are booked. However, the child/ren must be old enough to be able to sit in and stay in their own seat for the duration of the trip (we recommend 5+). You will not be allowed to carry a young child, toddler or baby in your lap at any time.
      3. Can I bring food/snacks on the bus?

        We provide corn chips for the duration of the trips (we have been told these are addictive!). We don't provide any other food and also ask our passengers not to bring other food or snacks on board. We do this for the safety of our passengers that may have a severe allergy. If a passenger has a bad reaction we will need to stop the bus to take care of that person which may lead to the cancellation of the run. So in the best interests of everyone having a great time we ask for no food to be bought on the bus.

        Can I bring other drinks on the bus?

        We ask all passengers not to bring BYO drinks on our bus to comply with our liquor licence. We have carefully selected drinks that are branded and individually packaged and sealed for your safety. Every drink poured on our bus is opened fresh on the spot so there is no risk to our passengers of contamination or inferior alcohol. 

        Do you only serve beer?

        We serve 14 drinks on board. At the moment, we do not have a wine option.

        Are your drinks cold?

        All our drinks are very cold! They are kept on ice for the entire duration of the trip.

        What if I dont drink alcohol?

        We have many passengers ride the bus that don't drink alcohol. If you prefer not to drink please select the Adult Soft Drink Package. You can upgrade on the day if you decide to drink alcohol.

        What if I only want to drink 1 alcoholic drink?

        If you want to drink any alcohol on the bus, even one, you will need to upgrade to the alcohol package. All passengers must choose to be on a unlimited soft drink package OR an unlimited alcohol package. You can upgrade at any time during the run, just inform staff and they will ask you to pay the remainder at the end of the trip. 

        Can I upgrade to the alcohol package on the day?

        Yes, you can upgrade to the alcohol package on arrival. You can also upgrade to the alcohol package mid-trip. Just let the host know and you will be able to pay the extra amount at the end of the trip. Please do not ask to stay on the soft drink package but have one alcohol drink as refusal may offend. All passengers must choose either a soft drinks package or alcohol package.

        Do you stop for the toilet?

        Yes, we make two scheduled stops for the toilet and stop as needed for an emergency. Please bear in mind it is sometimes difficult to park our bus during heavy traffic as the traffic sometimes cannot pass us if we park, but we try our best to stop.

        Do you have more than one bus?

        At the moment we have one green bus, LamboGreenie. Our second bus is almost built, Pink Bits. We hope this will be operational at the start of October 2024. We will announce her arrival on our social media, so follow us and keep an eye out!

        Do you offer pickup?

        We are unable to offer pickup from the hotel as this is very difficult for us to coordinate with the traffic and having to prepare the bus for the next run. All passengers must board and de-board the bus at our HQ in Legian, our address is 358a Patih Jelantik, Legian

        Where do I get on the bus?

        Can I pay the remainder of my booking on the day?

        You can pay the remaining 75% of the booking in person on the day. We take cash (IDR only) and card (EFTPOS).

        Can I book and pay the deposit in person?

        You can book in person by paying the 25% deposit at our HQ. Our reception will then book you in and send you the confirmation email.


        However, we strongly recommend booking on the website in advance as we book out quickly. We often have disappointed customers who cannot get seats during their holiday period.

        Can I book the bus privately?

        Yes you can. To have a private run you can book all 13 seats on the bus. The bus still must be boarded and de-boarded at our HQ in Legian. We are unable to bring the bus to you or change our set area.

        What days and times do you operate?

        We operate 7 days a week. Our runs are 11am, 2pm, 5pm and 8pm. 

        Can we choose the music?

        Yes, the bus has an iPad with Spotify that controls the music. All passengers are invited throughout to queue songs. In between we have popular songs that play on a playlist.

        Can I store a small bag on the bus?

        Yes, every seat has a store space above to store a bag. You can also safely leave items with our reception whilst on the bus.

        Can I charge my phone on the bus?

        Yes, every seat has a USB port for a phone charger located underneath the bar.

        Can I reserve the back seat?

        Unfortunately, we don't hold specific seats as this can get complicated for customers and staff. I f you prefer a particular seat, please arrive early to check in and be first on the bus.

        Is it hard to get on the bus?

        Stepping onto the bus is similar to stepping up a step or two on a small step ladder. Some seats are easier to get into than others. If you need assistance to get onto the bus, our staff are happy to help, please just let them know. 

        Is the bus safe?

        The Bali Beer Bus was designed with safety in mind, including a full steel safety rail system. Our bus has successfully passed inspections with the Indonesian transport department (DISHUB) responsible for the safety and compliance of vehicles. All our staff are first-aid trained and certified.

        Do you still operate in the rain?

        Yes, we have rain covers to protect you from the rain. We may stop operation and need to cancel a run if the rain is torrential or their are too many road closures from the rain. However, this doesn't happen very often.

        What is your cancellation policy?

        There is not much which causes us to cancel, except severe weather (crazy torrential rain and lighting) and instructions from the police/government (for example, there is a large summit or there are road closures). If you cancel +7 days before your tour, we are happy to provide a full refund. If you cancel within 2-7 days before your tour, we will provide you with a credit to re-book when it suits you. Unfortunately, if you cancel within 48 hours of the tour we will not provide you with a credit or a refund of your deposit (unless we can rebook your seats).
